Install EXILED plugins on your SCP: Secret Laboratory server by uploading their .dll files through the WinterNode File Manager.

Install a Plugin

  1. In the Game Panel, click Stop and wait for your server to stop. Uploading plugins while the server is running can cause them not to load correctly.
  2. In the Game Panel, open the File Manager.
  3. Navigate to .config/EXILED/Plugins.
  4. Click Upload and select your plugin’s .dll file.
  5. Once the upload finishes, click Start to bring your server back online.

Your plugin should now be active. The easiest way to confirm is to check in-game. You can also look for the plugin name in the server console output during startup.

Installing Plugin Dependencies

Some plugins require additional .dll files to function. If the plugin’s documentation lists dependencies, upload them to a separate folder.

  1. In the File Manager, navigate to .config/EXILED/Plugins/dependencies.
  2. Click Upload and select each dependency .dll file.
  3. Start your server once all files are uploaded.

Troubleshooting

If a plugin isn’t showing up after you start the server, check the following:

  • Server was online during upload. Stop the server, re-upload the file, then start again.
  • Missing dependencies. Check the plugin’s documentation for any required .dll files and upload them to .config/EXILED/Plugins/dependencies.
  • Wrong folder. Make sure the plugin .dll is in .config/EXILED/Plugins, not a subfolder.

Still not working? Open a support ticket in the client area or reach out on Discord with your server name and the plugin you’re trying to install.
