WinterNode started in 2019 with a single Minecraft node in New York. Now it’s 26 games, 8 locations, 3 continents. Here’s how the library has grown.
The Timeline
2019 - Minecraft. That’s it. One i9-9900K node in New York (later moved to Chicago). VPS hosting followed later that year.
2020–2021 - The foundation years. We moved to company-owned hardware in Chicago, built out our control panel, and added core infrastructure. Minecraft remained the focus while we scaled the platform.
2022 - Cloud VPS launched. We started expanding the game library beyond Minecraft with our first batch of additional titles.
2023 - Things took off. We went from a handful of games to 18+ in a single year, launched in Europe and Australia, and brought on dedicated game server staff. Garry’s Mod, Factorio, Terraria, Project Zomboid, Palworld, 7 Days to Die, The Forest, and more all joined the library.
2024 - Steady expansion. V Rising, SCP: Secret Laboratory, Soulmask, Satisfactory, Killing Floor 2. We hit 25 games by year end.
2025 - Vintage Story, Mordhau, SCUM, Brickadia, and our brand-new website. New locations in Miami and Los Angeles.
2026 - Hytale. One of the most anticipated game launches in years, and we had servers ready on day one.
