Moving to WinterNode? Keep your world, plugins, mods, and configs. Two ways to do it.

Easiest: we migrate you, free

Open a support ticket and our team moves your server to WinterNode at no charge, whether your files are still on your old host or already downloaded to your computer. Best for large or complex setups, or if you would rather not handle the files yourself.

Migrate it yourself

  1. Compress your files on the old host. In its file manager, select everything in the server root and choose Compress or Zip. No compress option? Connect to the old host with SFTP, download the files, and zip them on your PC.
  2. Upload to WinterNode via SFTP. The File Manager works too if your archive is under 100MB.
  3. Decompress the archive: in File Manager, open its kebab menu and select Decompress.
  4. Set your startup jar. The panel looks for server.jar by default; if yours is named differently, update it in Server Options. Then start your server.
