How Long Server Setup Takes After Ordering

How long a new WinterNode server takes to set up after you order, what a Pending status means, and when to contact support.

New WinterNode servers are set up automatically, usually within a minute of payment. Occasionally a setup needs help from our team, so if your server isn’t in your Game Control Panel after 10 minutes, contact support.

Check Whether Your Server Is Ready

  1. If this is your first service with us, check your inbox for the email with the subject “Account Created” (check your spam folder too)
  2. Click the link in that email to set your password
  3. Log in to the Game Control Panel
  4. Look for your new server in the server list on the homepage

Once your server appears in the list, it’s ready. Follow Start & Manage Your Server to start it for the first time.

Check Your Order Status in the Client Area

  1. Open the Services dropdown in the Client Area navbar
  2. Click My Services
  3. Find your new service and check the Status column

If the status is Pending, the server hasn’t been set up yet. You can’t start or manage it until it appears in the Game Control Panel.

If It Has Been More Than 10 Minutes

Most servers are set up within a minute of payment. If your service is still Pending, or the server still isn’t in your Game Control Panel server list 10 minutes after payment, the setup needs help from our team.

Still Not Working?

Contact our support team with:

  • Your Server UUID, if the server already shows in the Game Control Panel
  • The email address on your WinterNode account and the game you ordered
  • Roughly when you placed the order and what status the Client Area shows
