WinterNode servers run on NVMe SSDs with unmetered storage. Every server has a baseline storage allocation, and increases are free on request.

How Storage Works

Your server has a storage baseline based on your plan. You can use storage up to this limit without any action needed. If your server exceeds the baseline, it will stop until storage is freed up or increased.

Storage usage is shown in the Game Control Panel on your server list and in the console page graphs.

What Counts Toward Storage

Everything in your server’s file directory counts toward storage:

  • World files and save data
  • Plugins, mods, and configurations
  • Log files
  • Local backups created by plugins or manually

Requesting More Storage

If you need more space, contact us on Discord or submit a support ticket. Storage increases are free.

Just let us know your Server UUID and that you need more storage. We’ll review and increase your allocation. For large requests, we can provide a disk usage breakdown to help identify what’s using the most space.
