Dedicated IP Addresses

Learn what a dedicated IP is, which games support it, how to order one, and what to do if your service shows as Pending.

Last updated: February 2, 2026

A dedicated IP means your server uses the game’s standard port, so players can connect without appending a port number.

Shared vs Dedicated

By default, game servers on WinterNode use a shared IP with a unique port. Players connect using the format IP:port — for example, 123.45.67.89:25567.

With a dedicated IP, your server gets the game’s default port. For a Minecraft server, that means players connect on port 25565 — they just enter the IP address or domain without needing to specify a port.

Supported Games

Dedicated IPs are available for:

  • Minecraft (Java and Bedrock)
  • Hytale

Ordering

Dedicated IPs are automatically assigned when you place a new order that includes one. After payment is received, the IP is provisioned with your server.

To add a dedicated IP to an existing service, contact our Support Team.

Pending Status

If your service shows as “Pending” after ordering, it means automatic deployment could not complete — usually because dedicated IPs are temporarily unavailable on your server’s node. Our team will sort your order within 24 hours.
